Very true. This is a great forum!

About the Monte #2, it is in the "longer" list . I have already tried it; it is a great cigar, indeed.

Also, cohibaIV has me convinced - I will try a IV at the soonest . About the Cohibas in general, Alex, I have a friend who smokes them almost exclusively and he was telling me the other day the same thing, that they are hit and miss. On the other hand, isn't this true of any brand?

well pilot, to be honest, in my experience so far, i've never had a bad partagas or bolivar yet!!! that is one of the factors why i rate these brands so high, i've found the quality to be very consistent, they seem to 'hit the mark' everytime, i've not been let down so far!!! if you look into past experiences with others in this forum, you'll find that there were consistency issues with the quality of montecristos (especially the no.2's, 4's & sublimes) and cohibas (robustos & esplendidos)!!!!

you've put together a fantastic list, pretty much most of the habanos in production....... i, like most others on this list, am only doing my small bit to help you select cigars that have been rewarding for me!!!!

      all the best mate,

Not mentioned much on the Forum but every bit as good as the Monte2 and PSP2, and certainly worth a single sometime .... H.Upmann No2

Thanks again, Alex! I knew of the forum but I didn't realize they had so many reviews on youtube!

Good to hear that Partagas are consistent. The SD4 and SP2, which I have tried, were outstanding. My favourite brand so far, really.

tippexx, thanks, the list just grew by one .

First vote for the Mag 46 - Little disappointed with the lack of support as I have had some truly fantastic ones this year.

                Love this thread.

Just studied your list Pilot & I have smoked all these apart from the 2010, which I wouldn't be smoking yet if I had come across them. Don't rush it, you will get through them, make a few notes as you go - certianly helped me in the the begining. I envy you; so many fine stix to try for the first time. I won't prejudce your tasting, just take your time to savour each one & get to know the taste profile & learn which stengths & flavours you enjoy the most.
Come back to this thread in a couple fo yrs & lets us know how it went
