New Partagas D5 for 2011

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this but I just read on Trev's site that the Partagas 2008 D5 EL is to be released as a regular production cigar. I completely love this stick....after a year or so. It was pretty awful when I first bought them but it's amazing now. Only a few left from the box so this couldn't be better timed!

I read somewhere it is a churchill size cigar but can't remember i saw it.

partagas already have a strong DC market hold with the lusitania, my guess would be "especial", something like a panetela.

hopefully the D5 is as good as the special release without too much extra price.

i heard from a loacl shop that the D5 is not that 'limited' and boxes with code 09 are all over the places.

Hi Sean. I've seen the D5 EL on quite a few web sites but they're quite expensive. I'm hoping the new D5 will be priced the same as the Monte PE and HdM PR...fingers crossed

Would be nice, but I bet it isn't given this year they discontinued the entire Serie Connaisseur. A new Especial would be like mending something which wasn't broken.

For same money as PE or PR? i choose D5 EL all the time, so I doubt the price will be priced as such. No way, otherwise i am get a few boxes hahaa

D5 is one hell of a smoke, I just love it. its not a better D4, its a completely differerent anamial.

Totally agree with you Sean. Very, very different smoke. Same way the the Edmundo and PE are different...

Price-wise though, I think they'll be much the same as the PE. They're going to be a regular line so (I hope) they'll be priced similarly
