  • What are you smoking now? (PIPES)

Let me be the first to post on what I hope will be a sticky thread?

    Let me kick off proceedings.

I'm enjoying hal O' the Wynd (pronounced as in "wined and dined" remember!) in lovely Millville half-bent pot.

Very nice too; sweet and strong as a good virginia should be. Burning evenly and cool too.....

Borkum Riff Scandinavian mixture (Virginia and Burley), I was on holiday in Buenos Aires at the start of November and found and excellent tobacconist. I'd never seen their Scandinavian before so picked some up and it's pretty good.

peterson's luxury blend is doing the business for me! granted, it's the first pipe tobacco i've bought, but it's made me happy! like a cross between h upmann and vega robaina cigars IMO......alex

Will try a bowl of Gauntley's 'Christmas Spice' later on whilst listening to the Footy.
I don't like aromatics, but I tried this last year and was surprised how nice it was.

Just finished a bowl of Dunhill's London Mixture.
This is fast becoming one of my favourites.

I'm having a relaxing Christmas eve, pottering around in the kitchen but I'm now having a bowl of squadron leader and very nice it is too. Merry Christmas folks.

Having a bowl of Yachtsman before I switch to cigar mode! Recommended if you haven't tried it, very aromatic with a hint of vanilla and a very pleasant room note.

Just finished a bowl of Orlik Bullseye...one of my favourite Va-Pers, if I can clasify it in this category.

My third out of five punch petite punches that was so plugged it was un-smokable so its been diced up packed and is now smoking rather well.

Though i hope i wont be making this a regular occurrence was ?7ish for a bowl is just way to pricey.
