  • Had a couple of bowls on Saturday as I was on the road for a while. Firstly, and a new pipe being introduced to tobacco with Plum Pudding Special Reserve and then later on was the Pudding without the Special Reserve in a cob. Enjoy the rest of the weekend lads.

          • Continuing with VaPers I've had a 50g block of St. James's Plug in the stash for a time now. 1st smoke of it today & I'd say IMO it's the best of the 3 so far with a lovely fruity richness.

Not sure if that tray is an old one but I have a decades old tray of that type that was my mothers and her mothers. It's perfect for loading a pipe or doing fiddly jobs with tiny parts.

You can see it's been about for a while by looking at the back.

VaPer #4 for me this week is Peter Stokkebye's Luxury Bullseye Flake. This is from my stash not the recent pipe club. It's got a lot of Perique in (but less than the Askwith Kake)
You could say it's not a true VaPer as the bullseye is made of Cavendish but as Cavendish is apparently made from Virginia tobacco it's not worth arguing the point.

Got myself some of this too after enjoying the sampler from the pipe club, it's very nice for a sit down and sip in the shed
