Do you normally have some difficulty with retrohaling?

Yes, I can even find it painful. I'm not really sure why, I keep trying now and again and 95%+ of the time it's not something that is pleasurable for me to do.

I find it painful with some tobaccos, especially if I pass the full draw through my nose. Retrohaling is the surest way to get the full taste of the tobacco, so even passing the last part of the draw through the nose is essential.

Got some of this today - Peterson Summertime 2013. Now I ain't no pipe 'baccy expert, but this is some pretty nice stuff straight from the tin. Can't wait to try it after a week or two in me mason jar.

I made my pipe smoking debut into the public arena on Saturday, sitting in the pub beer garden smoking Dunhill London Mixture and drinking Theaktons ale. Whilst the majority of smokers were brandishing e-cigarettes, I enjoyed the most ancient of styles by way of the trusty and rustic briar.
There is something quite lovely about smoking a pipe in public.

Trying some Kentucky nougat today which I was given as a sample. I may just pick a little more of this up, lovely and sweet like the name suggests. Very nice after a bit to much food.
