I have certainly been more often disappointed by Cohibas than any other brand. Either they require bionic cheeks to puff, or they have been bitter and unleasant. Then occasionally a peach! Weirdly, never had a bad HdM PR.

The difference between an amateur and a professional, is that the amateur thinks he knows everything, while the professional knows he never will.

Siglo III's are a bit of a favourite of mine so don't give up on 'em!! You must have had a duff one.

I had a Monte 2 that tasted awful - almost like burning tyres, a little while ago - I'm 100% confident it wasn't a fake and made me feel quite ill...

I have mainly been disappointed with the Partagas 898, which just say even sounds crazy. I'm not sure why, but every time I try them, I never leave feeling excited. I think my disappointment comes more from me expecting a great cigar, than it being a bad smoke however!

RyJ Churchill. It was hollow. Literally. Massive hole through the middle. Gave up trying to smoke it.

Wait varnished or unvarnished cos ive always found the varnished one to be far better than the others.

I've had both, and both are equally as big a let down to me unfortunately.

Ouch! That is a real killer, the 898's I've got are fantastic, not had a single issue with any *touches wood*
