Just to add one more voice to the chorus it was a good day and thanks to Shamir for organising lunch and this table at the Stafford.

I smoked a Presidente at JJ's and a Pitbull Muchacho at the Stafford.

A long day for.me, up at 05:30 to catch the Euro Star & back home at 22:30. Annoying news I received was that the wife isn't working today after all! So could have stayed another hour or so, not so long but wouldn't have had to rush my 1970's No3, which is rather criminal for a 40yo superb example of black tobacco cigar.
I was great to finally meet the faces behind the handles & everyone was a new face too me. An example of our turn over of members.
It was my first visit to JJ's, since my first official herd, Blue Posts June 2006 (pre smoking ban). The Tasting Room was rather splendid, I chose an aged Hoyo du Roi, as I thought it one that I could manage with coffee & water. Turned out to be a very fine smoke. I handed out parcels of ordered cigars & a big parcel for Ehab, who some may now as the admin of Moka Cigar.
The TT was an interesting venue for lunch, at least it was reasonable quiet & menu reasonable. The Stafford was very upmarket & just as well I walked in first, I knew I hadn't over dressed when I saw a gent wearing a very similar navy blue pin stripe. Was tempted to ask him if it was Gieves & Hawkes as well. Was impressed they had reserved the best covered & heated area for non-smokers! As it was dry & mild, it wasn't really a problem. I'd recommended the Thaites Bitter, a whole pint for less than a bottle of their own bottled larger.
