  • Newly discovered pairings.

I know there are quite a few threads already about great pairings but I just thought it would be interesting to hear about peoples 'newly discovered' matches.

My own personal one that I can't get enough of recently is the wonderful H.Upmann Magnum 48 and the extremely tasty (and strong) Innis & Gunn rum cask beer. A fantastic match.

What new pairings have you discovered recently?

Last week I smoked an H.Upmann Magnum 50 drinking a Hendrick's Gin with tonic...Its a smoother Gin quite floral and slightly sweet pairing very nicely with the creaminess of the Upmann. I'll definately try this again!

RASCC/Siglo I goes great with Balvenie 21 year old (portwood). The sweetness in the RASCC and smoothness of the Siglo are both to be found in this fine whisky.

Whats Havanna Club like? Saw some in Tesco today on special, it was a 7 year old or something.

I would say that was quite a good price.
