Y.S. Why are you so worried about a purchse? If you are truely brassic then it's not worth getting into good Cigars, if you have 50 or 60 quid saved for Chrimbo then look through the catalogue on line & you'll see some part box lots that could be in your price range. You could always speak to the guy next to you & split a purchase. I certainly would never show up without making a bid at least. I have bid at three autions so far (online) & won my first lot last June; which was a split share. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I think you need to contact Cgars and see about details of the auction, I know I have been invited to the last 3 but not been able to get there so really pleased to be able to attend this one

All sounds very exciting YCS, it's nice to see someone excited about the auction. I have also wanted to go to one for a while, but I always seem to be out of the country, or snowed under with work when they take place....Maybe one day huh!

Have you got your eye on anything in particular? Anything youre willing to splash out on if it comes cheap enough?

Im not sure I would be able to contain myself over a few of the auctions, and would have some serious explaning to do to the misses once I got home!
