What do you drink with your cigar?

I'm interested in finding out which drink you prefer with which cigar.

For me it's always booze and I've experimented quite a bit, settling on the following.

Black Russian - 2 shots of good Vodka (40%) 1 shot of espresso vodka & 2 shots of Kaluha, with lots of ice.

Single malt, no water or ice.

Brandy and coke.

What about you?

Daytime smoking or non-alcoholic choice is pretty much always a can of ice cold coke, full fat of course!

Rum, Whisky, G&T are other favoured choices, plus I do love a good Ale with a cigar. I live 200yds from the East Anglia CAMRA pub of the year so it's usually a decent spot to try a couple of ales with a smoke and watch the world go by...

Scotch, Red wine, Coffee, Scotch, Rum, Beer, Scotch, Brandy, Champagne, Gin and tonic, Cider and of course you can't beat a nice glass of scotch. And no,,,I don't have a problem!

Ale and wine are my alcoholic choices. My non-alcoholic drinks that I think go well is coffee (obviously!) and Dr Pepper!

Red wine is my favourite. A really fruity Pinot Noir or a meaty Malbec or Cab Sav. A really good Malt or Bourbon doesn't go down badly either.

I admit i dont usually think about it too much and i normally just go for whenever my mood feels like so that can rage from a good ale to a martini and everything in between except wine cant stand wine and cigars.

I love a drop of red wine with a smoke... especially something powerful like a nice Party 898! Yum! Reminds me of BBQ's in the summer...

Arr my folks are the wine drinkers ive never had much of a taste for the stuff though i do like a bottle of rose from time to time.

I have never fancied red wine with a smoke, and I thought the flavour would kill a martini.

A good excuse to test all your suggestions out though.... Empirical research.

all sorts, depends on the time and my mood. i to like an ale or wine. most spirts have their place, except 'proper' whisky. Just cant get on with the stuff.

For the odd through the day smoke I do like a nice coffee or just plain old H2O

For evenings, well I guess the only things I drink are Rum and Brandy, I mostly make my own Rum so it's often a little different time to time.
Actually I must send a few samples to you guys that like Rum, i've been told it's pretty nice, I tend to make it at around 30% that way I can enjoy the flavour more

Never had anything apart from coffee with cigars, I think this may be one of the reasons why I always get the same flavours from cigars (opinions if you have any please) may try water next tine and see if it helps??

Home made rum sounds bloody lovely! Made my own beer enough times but never branched further than that...

Coffee is my usual drink with a cigar.
Occasionally a single malt. Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or being the favourite.

But try this sometime.... it works so well with a cigar.
1 part Southern Comfort mixed with 2 parts Bailey's. Heavenly.
