....here in Lincoln. The last one that I remember being here was a small affair but was nevertheless where I picked up my very first Habano,an RyJ #2 closely followed by a Boli tubo #3.But since that one closed down the nearest one of any quality, that I know of at least,is around 60 miles away.My stock smokes are all robustos and pyramides across four of five marques, apart from a couple of minutos.I just find that they give me the best combo of flavours, are very smokable within my weekday time constraints and they just "feel right",you know But it being a Saturday morning, early Spring in the air,a light breakfast and a couple of coffees later and I'm sitting here thinking what a good day it would be to try one of the bigger smokes that I really want to,an HdM Double corona,a Partagas Lusi or 898,a Boli CG,Upmann Sir Winston, maybe even one of the BHK's if I'm feeling flush! And the list goes on.It would be lovely to be able to take a walk and go and choose one of the aforementioned from a local humidor but alas not possible.Still,I'm very lucky with what I do have and am able to add to them and for that I'm grateful I do apologise,I didn't mean for that to be quite so long winded, was just a wistful moment Have a great weekend everyone

I think I remember the place in Lincoln you mention. Was it in the stone archway before going up Steep Hill? I used to buy cigars there occasionally when I was based at Lincoln at RAF Digby. I envy you to be honest. That excitement of trying different cigars for the first time still gives me a buzz, and a first double corona was a great moment - mine was a Hoyo DC as well! Enjoy the journey...not that it ever ends of course!

We're definitely in the cigar no man's land of the midlands that's for sure. Two hours to Liverpool, three to Newcastle or five+ to London. No point even getting started on cigar lounges

I'm from just outside lincoln and feel the same. The Whisky Shop in the bail gate used todo a few tubo but last time I was there they had none. Mich if your reading this....

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.
