Anyone Recommend a nice weekend smoke?

That's because they seem to be hit or miss, I read a review of a group that smoked a box at a herf, I think the split was 2 were great, 3 were good, 2 were average and I quote 3 tasted like cardboard.

The 1966 I've had have been rubbish. The best cigar leaving Cuba at the moment for me are Sir Winnies.

Let the Chinese buy up the Cohibas and leave the good stuff for us!

Smoked a good couple of dozen over the last few years and all been completely shite. Some people swear by them, but I just find they're like a very average Cohiba Robusto. Which isn't even that great itself.

hey guys, Anyone had any nice smokes recently. Going to treat myself to a nice weekend smoke. i am tempted to buy a 1966 Cohiba but not sure.

You must have had some bad ones. I can think of plenty of smokes that are a let down. Monte edmundo to start with.

When I think of my perfect Cuban I keep going back to this. IMHO better than a Bhk.

If you're looking in that price range, I'd go for a Behike 54 instead. The '66 is highly unreliable.

Cohiba Corona Especiale, thinner ring gauge and needs to be smoked carefully to avoid overheating, but they are sublime.
