  • Fathers Day

Well, I'm going to be given ?200 for fathers day and wanted to buy some Cuban cigars. Thought Id use the money to break into the Cuban scene. I like strong flavours and aromas so I need some help in choosing. I don't want to invest in a box yet as Id like to sample a few beforehand. Can you chaps please recommend a nice stick for me. I'm looking at 10 to 12 sticks on that budget???

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

I would just go have a look and see what tempts you, if your coming across from non Cubans I would look at the bolivars, Partagas and Punch over the light/ medium marcas.

Here are 3 MUST's in my opinion,
Ramon Allones Small Club Corona - ?7.99
          Bolivar Royal Corona - ?13.49
Juan Lopez Petit Corona - ?8.49

ALso the HdM Epicure No.2 looks great and has a lot of good reviews (just bought a 3 pack).

          Hope this helps a bit?

And again for the Epicure No.2..... fast becoming a fave... also try ERDM Choix Supreme, superb.
You say you like the stronger end so maybe try Partagas D4...

                Gary.

And seeing as your not paying throw in a Behike 52.......

+1 for the gold medals, plus they usually have 4 years on them, I just got a box dated Jul 2008 last week.

I got a box of cupcakes. Now they are carrot and walnut with cream cheese icing, hand made by my stepdaughter, but ?200 to spend on cigars sounds even better!

                          Pics when they arrive!

                            +3 on the GM's.

Personally, I'd add a Partagas Lusitanias into the mix. They are a little pricey, but always a spectacular cigar.
