I've had the Fuerte Maduros and thought they weren't too bad for the price. They're nowhere near as complex as Cubans but I used to think of them an ok smoke for when you're mowing the lawn, walking the dog, etc. But I went off them after having a few that tasted of petrol (yes, petrol!
) I haven't touched them since.

It was definitely a shock! I'd had some ok ones before that and thought that it was a one off so I smoked another a few days later......and that tasted of petrol too! Then I stopped buying them.Originally posted by Dherm View PostBloody hell Petrol! What happened to the "freshly mown grass, spicy cumin, overtures of lemon, apple and herb lol

I'm afraid I can't offer anything from experience but certainly the consensus of the reviews I've seen seems to be that they're a very passable, anytime "cheap & cheerful"
