I was fine watching him until he started to make a hole in the Cigar, at that point i wanted to dance a Fandango on his smug Scottish hat wearing head.

Let's not make this into a 'Hate Ralfy the Scott' thread, or indeed an opportunity to express any discriminating remarks, elitism, snobbery or conceit.

I find it amazing he can taste that many tastes in his whiskey, it's a pleasure to hear him reeling them off!

Must admit I've learnt a lot from his reviews. Years ago people always kept a piece of potato peeling in baccy to keep it moist!

My advice would be not to do this to a cigar or for that matter any kind of smoking, Peat is extremely combustible, the reason being is its full of Oil, the same stuff we extract to run our cars on, very toxic.

                        Joao makes a good point!

Each to their own I suppose, but this is all very disturbing to me! It's not something I'll ever consider doing, even to a Hamlet!

Not sure what effect "inhaling" Peat smoke would have long term, I think the digestive tract is more robust than the lungs are, not sure if i have this right but i think that a treatment for the ingestion of petroleum is to drink Alcohol as they bind together and pass through the body without causing damage, must have read this somewhere but no idea where

Oh did you not know, tobacco leaves are also toxic and full of carcinogens which are allegedly linked to cancer!
