Siglo Series

During the year of 1492, on the 12 October, Christopher Columbus made his discovery of the Americas, to include Cuba a few months later. It is this discovery that is celebrated by the Siglo range of Cohiba cigars, also called the Linea 1492 range. Siglo meaning 'century', the Siglo I, II, III, IV, V and VI are celebrations of the consecutive centuries, with the VI being added to the collection in 2002.
I don't suppose many of us will live to see the Siglo VII

I have only ever had a siglo 1, but thanks for that it is interesting im into the history of cigars.

Don't panic mrc, they'll be bound to bring out a SigloIA SigloIIA etc. for some anniversary or other, then probably the B,C,D,E ...you get the picture?

Never impressed by Siglo II, always struck me as bland & totally over priced for a mrvela. However I enjoy the rest. I think the III is an underated star, IV, V are great stick & VI is certianly expensive but a fine & in my experience, reliable grand stick.

The secret of course is patience Bolihopper .... Siglo's improve steadily with time.

I only ever had I, II & IV, love Is and IVs, not sure about II but I have only ever had one, i got a few more in my humidor, smoke a few more I am sure i had a lemon that day
