Am I right in thinking that there used to be a board for box splits? Seems to have gone or perhaps I am being blind.

Anyway, I have a friend based in the USA for the next four weeks and he has offered his services as a mule to bring back some non-Cuban smokes. I am very keen to try some Oliva Serie V and wondered if anyone would be interested in doing a box split? They will not be here for a while, but I can send them out when they arrive at the end of March.

Alternatively, if there are any other smokes you have always wanted to try, let me know, as I am always open to trying new stuff.

    PM if interested.

Always wanted to try Ghurka's, look interesting but no idea if they are any good.

Meh. Gurkha has excellent promotion and is the Master of Bling with bands and packaging. I'd rather they spent less on the presentation and reduced the prices. IMHO, Gurkha is overpriced and more strength than subtlety.

          YMMV

Fair enough. They do look a bit "all style and no substance".

Other way round Mr Trickle. They're about as stylish as Su Pollard wearing an LED Christmas tree and packed with tobaccos that have all the chemical composition of a municipal tip. But don't let me put you off because there are some exceptional Non Cuban cigars and brands out there .... just Gurkha isn't one of them. IMO.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

I've never seen them in the flesh, just the photoshopped ads/promo pics.

Agreed! Short Story: one of the best little smokes ever invented.
