Muy bien, chico....muy bien, de hecho! Spanish, right?

You asked on another thread, but I post a response here. The Customs are around the same price as Cohibas...so a bit expensive. But very good if you smoke them right away or after a year of so.

It's hard to beat enjoying a freshly rolled puro right off the torcedor's table along side a freshly made mojito.

This is partly correct. I cannot see anyone against background checks for everyone and especially to see if there were ever any mental problems in a person's background. The bill was hyped by everyone as this being the only reason when in fact it had quite a few more limitations like the size of clips and amount of ammunition and type of ammunition a person can buy.

Again, I don't think there was anything wrong with the bill which is probably why Obama was so steamed as it was quite a compromise from what they originally wanted. In fact, four Democrats sided with the Republicans to defeat this bill so I'm wondering what was in it that we don't know.

Either way, the argument that this will stop catastrophes like what happened at Newtown is ridiculous as this guy stole the assault weapon. I really think we need to go after Hollywood and the game makers to get all this violence away from the crazy folks who would do this (I don't think it would affect a normal person) but it only takes one doesn't it?

As you guys over there well know, it's still going to happen. As for the bill again, I don't think it would hurt and certainly nothing that should not have been passed, but again, don't think it would help much. BTW, there is much more violence in Mexico than the U.S. with their drug wars and they have a weapons ban. Who knows?

Lot of thoughtful stuff there, Senor Ricky. You must read alot!

A quick Google showed that the USA actually EXCEEDS my beloved Mexico in Gun deaths by almost 400%! CLICK HERE!
And since it's on the interwebs, it's gotta' be true!

I hear you on the Hollywood and Game Makers...but isn't there something in your constitution about "freedom of speach?"

                      One problemo mate:
Whos gonna register all the cartel deaths and the random ones in the country side??
Also, all the 100million unregistered persons in Mexico City alone. If one of those got shot and thrown in a ditch, i doubt anyones gonna register that......
                      Just my 2cents.

There was one MAJOR flaw. They tried to hit two birds with one stone. Ended up missing both of the bloody boobies......
And actually, the NRA is uniformally opposed to background checks.. Even if they had mental illnesses, it'll only limit them to like 5 pistols, 10 rifles, a grenade launcher, and maybe a V2 Missile.

Also, the hollywood thing i disagree with. Take Lennon's Killer (nooo, not Stalin and brain hemhorage): he killed John Lennon by being influence by Catcher and the Rye. No matter what, the mentally ill will find some sort of a source of inspiration to kill or what not.
Video games and movies won't turn good people bad. Besides, most Call of Duty gamers i know are MAJOR potheads and modern day hippies

Darn, trying to quote you is a days work all in itself.

We have freedom of speech. I don't think I said we should outlaw them, I said we should go after them. Obama is the king of making someone feel guilty if they don't agree with his way of thinking, why can't he shame those in Hollywood and the gamers into being responsible on their own? Oh, wait, they're his biggest backers, how could he go after them.

I think the NRA has lost sight of what's right too but background checks are already done on all gun purchases outside of person to person even at gun shows and I don't think they're for changing that, I think they are for not forcing us to register the ones we already have.

This is a good time to ask our British friends. There's things going on Facebook that everyone had to turn in their guns? Is that true or bull? I would love to know because I wonder how they got all the guns out of the bad guys hands as that's the purpose of the posts going around?

As for the murder rate here as opposed to Mexico, I guess I'm thinking about random acts of violence and not that of people who kill people they know which is the majority of those in the U.S. but I have no idea. I've never felt unsafe anywhere in Mexico and I've visited the back alleys of Novato.

Ah, UK gun law... You could fill books with discussion on it... I shall reply in full once I'm sat at a computer. Needless to say, we have fairly stringent gun laws, but they are (generally speaking) relatively fair. Then again, I live in a rural county with a constabulary who work well with and understand the true shooting fraternity (it might not be quite so straightforward if you live in Sunderland...)

I like how most people go around trying to like both parties, and you come and see through the bullshit and just shit on them, left and right

As for the whole England thing.. I went there last summer, there are pairs of men walking around with automatic weapons every 5 blocks or so in London.
Is that only inLondon cause of the olyimpics and shite? Or is that in every major city as well to compensate for the regular bobbies not having firearms??
The latter seems to be quite a good way to police the city..........
