In Dublin, at home or in a pub/restaurant smoking area.
In Spain, in the garden, on the beach or in a pub/restaurant smoking area.
In London, JJ Fox.
In Cuba, everywhere. Everywhere.
I smoke generally outside in my man cave or sometimes in my living room when the kids have gone to bed
tonight I am having a Cuaba Exclusivos with a nice glass of PX Sweet Sherry lovely
Am am also with the wife
A woman is an occasional pleasure but a cigar is always a smoke
Surely not 'everywhere' in Cuba Ryan? Plently of No Smoking areas now, although the weather means it's usually fine to smoke outside, I had a day or two where that wasn't feasible either.

Most often in my old car.. Outside cafes etc in the summer.. Walking around the shop ( window shopping only of course) .. Wherever I can get away with it!
Like I've said before, I really dislike smoking alone so it does restrict smoking opportunities. I usually smoke when I see my brother or with my very casual smoking friends at a poker night or at the end of a pub session
I hear you Sarge....and that was my original point really, it seems in the States there are lots of cigar lounges that are full of everyday people smoking everyday sticks not 'posh' terraces where you are obliged to spend at least ?25 on a stick.
I wish we had some over here....I realise you can pop into JJ's and sample one and a few other places but they are all in roughly the same area in the center.
I don't actually mind smoking alone as I can relax but have to agree with Mark that its more enjoyable in company. Will have to have a garden herf in the summer if we can arrange it.
I like the peace and quiet on my own, but it would be good for more places where you can meet up with mates and other BOTL without having to trek to the big smoke

are their cigar lounges all over the isles or is it just some select places with special codes?
sorry, wanted to clarify this a long time ago ever since they banned smoking in 'public owned' places on this side of the pond

Inside smoking is only allowed in England in specialist tobacconists that have a exemption. There is only 1 or 2 outside London. Other than that it is outside places with varying degrees of comfort.

aaaah, that's what i thought. wonder what would be the exemptions though. grandfathered to keep the permits or is it just a hefty fine every month for maintaining it?
and outside: guess the rain (and therefore humidity) would be a lingering problem there, eh? nowadays, everyone over here is firing up the old propane giants for warmth
