I started out moving from Hamlets to Montecristo Minis and still have a soft spot for them. Unfortunately as everyone in the thread but me apparently new, the RyJ Minis I picked up last time are abhorrent!

Another useful wee smoke are these:- http://www.mysmokingshop.co.uk/index...an=291&sec=940 .... cheap as chips and not to bad at all .... and the tubes come in really handy .... they fit Cuban Entractos.

Never seen them before might have to get a few for rainy days

The Ten Little Indians are great with a coffee, though I find them a little nasty without... I think the coffee really opens their flavour up!

They are indeed. Always good to have a tin handy. Likewise Indian Tabac ? Ten Little Indians, however these are better during the Summer as they tend to 'choke' in Winter's cold and damps.

RyJ and Montecristo Purito = Rubbish.

Partagas Chico and Quintero Purito = Fine (smoke them slowly as you would any skinny cigar)

Partagas and RyJ Club = Rubbish. Cohiba Club = OK. Montecristo Club = Fine

RyJ Mini = Rubbish. Cohiba Mini = Acceptable. Partagas and Montecristo Mini = Fine

Say what you like about these little smokes, but in social situations where you can't disappear for two long, or when the weather is sub-zero, or when you arrive at a resort that doesn't have a walk-in within a hundred miles .... they can be little life-savers .... and like I said, slow small sips will bring out the best from them.

No, sheppsea, they're better than Hamlet. Perhaps not significantly better but still better.
I do agree with VTG about the puritos though - they are better than the clubs.
