Don't panic.

As said deposit all sticks in good zip lock bags. Suck out the air as much as possible and stick in the freezer.

For a domestic freezer 3-4 days is nearer the mark that the 48hrs suggested.

Take out and do a day in the fridge if it makes you happy but I usually just put mine in room temperature for a day and they defrost just fine.

Sounds like just one stick lost so no big deal.
