They'll go eventually but it takes time. The cold snap might help.

      Mites!

Never seen them either Boss, but that would give you the willies.Bloody mites crawling over your sticks.

CJ, I take it your mite photograph is not to scale?, or there would be no room in the humi for any cigars.

        Re: Wood Mites

I've learned something here. I knew about tobacco beetles but never wood mites.

I'm going to check everything now!

I find that if you have lots of little broken wrapper pieces at the bottom of the humi this seems to draw the out. I find emptying it an giving it a quick hover or brush out seems to help.
Basically having a dirty box will give you a dose of mites.

Not sure if this is a common characteristic, but i've only got them in the dress boxes. The cabs are mite free.

                      Wander.

LOL.CJ, I reckon you could spend a few hours wandering around in there without a care in the world.

Bumping an old thread I know, but I have just seen a few of these in one of my cabs. I was extremely worried for a while but finding this thread my stress has eased a little.

Little white mites and no holes, thankfully.

Give your humi a Hoover out then a quick wipe round with a damp cloth. Apparenty it's the little broken flakes on the bottom of the humi they like
