  • Young Puros!

Throughout these fine forums, several have claimed that recent production puros are smoking pretty goood at an early age (i.e., less than one year old).

Which puros have you sampled recently that meet this criteria?

Hello! My name is BJ, BJ Coro, and I may have to purchase some puros that aren't ripe by Coro standards.

The all American puro! On a serious note I have enjoyed younger Cohiba Lanceros and Epi #2s

Thanks, muchacho. I actually crossed the boarder yesterday to look for the American Puro, but no luck. Thanks for your other suggestions. Never spent much time with the Lanceros, but the Epi 2 is a fine smoke.

I'll agree with that! I am new to cigars but i would add the Romeo & Juliette wide Churchill and the Cuaba Tradicionales have been new but very tasty.

What on Earth is Bag Boy thinking TJ, I hope you've slapped him around the side of the head and reminded him that Cuban cigars in nappies taste like it. You know it, I know it, 90% of the Forum knows it, Bag Boy who ought to know better has obviously been nipping out at night and taking stuff again.

Seen the suggestions list, five on it are pretty good — with a few years — the rest are abysmal at the best of times, so I guess they're now smoking abysmally well from the off. I don't know where or what the American Puro shop is, but if Bag Boy goes there again tell him to turn the boxes upside down, and if he can do his numbers backwards, not to come home with anything after 2010. But if he must, tell him SLR Regios, RyJ PC and HdM du Marie are what he's looking for.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

HdM Petit Robusto always seem to smoke well very young. Mr Five Years won't agree though

I'd say the best I've had (which isn't a lot) are PSD4 and SigloVI. The Boli PC's from Aug 2013 were smoking well!

I should have said 2013/4s for those .... and forgot 2014 HU Conni 1s.

Well, what's the point of being a teenager if you can't be in a hurry...know what I mean?

Thanks for all your advice, muchachos. Some really good suggestions, there. But in the end, I went with a few boxes of 1-year old PSD4 for me and me mates.

                      Cheers, one and all!
