had the no.2 and i found it way too light.
then had a no.1 and it was v v pleasant.
petit robusto was okay, think i enjoyed the no.1 more.
got the chance to buy no.1s for good price, a box.
    they are a 2012 box.

will probably get slaughtered for this but my first regular cigar was the HDM Excalibur number 1 was great value for money and found it very pleasant smoke with a large hazelnut Dunkin Donuts Coffee. will always hold a special place for me.

Great fan of the Hoyo brand, hate to disagree with ARF' but the only vitolas I don't get on with are the Depute & the Marie. Try a well aged No2 before you dismiss them, 5yrs is when I'd open the cab, they'll be 9yrs+ when it's finished, just keep getting better for me. Really aged ones fetch serious money at auction, & there's a good reason for that

I've recently taken to HdM more and more. I love the epi 2 as I find now that milder smokes can be just as enjoyable as the big guns. I used to only enjoy full strength smokes but as my palate has developed I'm getting more enjoyment from some milder smokes and subtle flavours. The ages Cohiba's helped me there. My face HdM is the short Pyramide but I also like the epi 2 a lot. John and I touched on ageing on Saturday and I do think I'd like to get a cab of epi 2 to put away with the 5 year minimum smokes. Maybe I'll make that my first 50 cab.

I've had good PR and a really bad one that was so horrible I had to throw it away.

Never had a bad Epi2 or Epi Especial.

The HDM Churchill and DC are supposed to be good smokes.
