Being new to cigars I was just wondering what are the signs of a cigar going 'bad'/'dry' whilst in a humidor? Even though your hygrometer is reading within the desired temp/humidity range? Is this even possible?
Iv tried searching using tapatalk but it's proving useless
I currently store mine in a 5l click and lock tub ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411386945.779253.jpg with a couple of boveda packs.
My cigars are fine I was just curious [emoji4]

Let me address the second part of your question first. Yes, it's possible for sticks to go bad even if your hygrometer is at the desired level. Remember, the huimidity is not consistant throught a static unit, like a desktop, and the larger your unit, the greater the variance. So, unless you are running a high-end rig that monitors the humidity levels throught your unit, you may need to take measure to move the humidity around a bit, like opening the lid every now and then.
