UV light breaks down cigars. Better opaque. I keep my tupperdores in black Habano bags.

Ive got my desktop humidor which states it holds 50. That has the xiker tub thingy in it. Now when I buy boxes (got 4 now) I have taken 4 out of each and put in the desktop. The boxes im thinking put in individual ziplock bags with a boveda pouch and only open them maybe once a month to get a few more cigars out and top up the desktop. So purchase a box of boveda to replace the ones in the bags with boxes every couple of months.
    Sound about right ?

Oh also when you buy the boveda pouches they aren't activated straight away, they keep until your ready to use them?
Ziplock would do in a pinch for short term but since they breath quite easily I would not like to try any decent length of time. Sealed plastic boxes are cheap anyway.

They're not all 60 grams, there's two sizes, small and large.

That is what i was thinking myself but not 100% sure all contain same amount of sollution but different amonts of salt for higher or lower humidity.

Ok on the subject of boveda pouches we all know they come in 65%..69% ..72% ...84% all 60grms
now my question to who may know is they all weigh the same i should imagine they hold the same amount of liquid
is it the different amont of salt they contain within the pouches that give off different humidity can't get my head round it
for example when recharching the pouches should imagine they obsorb the same amount of liquid wether they are as stated above.
Something in the pouches must give off different humidity any experts can answer my question.

The ziplocs sound like a good idea, I've done it for a handful of cigars so I don't see why it wouldn't work for a box. If I'm wrong someone will be along in a minute to tell me!
