Cigar consumption has gone through the roof over the holidays. Something which rings true for a few people. 3 or 4 a day at the moment. Palate is fairly wrecked so going to try and have a day off

Given the time of year and restrictions (weather) I'd say minimally one a week at the moment. I make sure I get that one in though

Aye. This is normally how I tell people I smoke. But since i've discovered a few winter cigar "lounges", 2-3 has been climbing up to 5-10 a month in the winter .

OH! And in Cuba, 3-5 a day!

2-3 a month? It's an expensive hobby to be fair. I like collecting them and "knowing" they are there. Although I am well above the 2-3 month limit for December. It's xmas and all that ya know?!

I quite like relaxing with a cigar but I can only smoke outside and to me relaxed means warm!

That's enough for me. Expensive hobby, enough for me to relax to and also to smoke for special occasions

I think that's what Gregor Mendel (father of modern genetics) smoked in a day...

From Sept - Nov, I was slamming down little machine-made or cheap cigars: Troyas, RA Belvederes, Upmann Epicures, JlPs. Those I would go through one in two/three days. Not because I needed to... But because it was nice to smoke in the autumn wind and the winter wind.

Occasionally got in a few good long cigars nearing the end of November. But stumbled on a very good cab of JUL 2013 HdM Du Princes. I downed that box in 2 and a half weeks (12 sticks during then).
November saw a good pause of smokes and December I had one of the best few smokes in a while. Mostly all long cigars and great cigars. Christmas Eve saw me smoking 6 Troya Club Coronas in one night. Great night and amazing little cigars.

As you can see, I just smoke when I want to. Don't know why I didn't pick up a belvedere or two in November but I just didn't.
