Just seen Jeremy mention the AF short story maduro....Now that was a good cigar....They sent me the maduro by mistake but I loved it.

I'll be reading this with interest as usually NCs don't do it for me. I didn't smoke one last year I might get some inspiration. Saying that I had an NC on Sunday and Monday. Sunday's Davidoff Grand Cru 3 was great, Monday's (a now known blind taster) was very respectable.

Can I vote for Sunday's cigar seeing as I haven't had many?

I always pick up a pack of Grand Cru No3 at Duty Free, too expensive otherwise, one of my favourite NC's, along with Padron Anniversary Principe.

Favourite last year, which was a nice surprise, was a Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum 52 (well I think it was 52)

If I ever fly again, I'll be doing the same Dave. Great cigar, albeit I only had the one.

Re the Sungrown, I've had a number of 44s and like them. Still got 1/2 a dozen I think.

I'm surprised seeing a few guys liking the Davidoff range. They are my absolute non cuban favorite, but the prices are off putting. They are a special occasion smoke for me.

Although I scored the AF Signature higher and the Leccia Black even - the Puro wins for one simple reason - it's amazing - at any time, with any thing.
It's the only box I've bought that I've not sold or traded any of. That speaks volumes!
