So, all the talk of year 1 sickness is making me wonder.... How old do the popular lines come into the stores? One or two of the less popular things i've bought have come from aged stock and (reputable) retailers have shown the stamps on open ans unopen stock to illustrate the point.

But in my recent rush to purchase and restock, i buy samplers/ single stick mixes, i've not asked about age. So current behikes... Vigias etc all quite'in demand' how old?

I know the answer is keep em any way!

    thx
    matt

I don't think 'how old' has anything to do with it. They come into Retailers as soon as they're available. The popular ones also obviously sell the quickest. Older PDS4 for example aren't easy to find whereas in the less popular vitolas you can pick up some decent aged sticks.

You don't need to worry too much about Behike or Vigias they're rolled from well aged tobacco anyway. Production cigars are rolled from 2 year aged. The initial sickness period when it does occur is at around six months to a year and usually lasts for about a year. To play safe, ask Mitch or whoever your vendor is for sticks from around Aug 13, any ickiness, if they ever had any, should be gone from them.

By unopened EMS you mean full but un-sealed yes?
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
