I would agree, though I do know that for some BOTL a Nic 'hit' is part of the pleasure. Personally I don't like it. There is no way to really avoid it, maintaining your hydration and smoking slowly at one puff a minute helps, and trying to smoke only older cigars from which the Nic has dissipated is a long accepted way of avoiding discomforts, but there's no absolute guarantee, older, long skinny cigars for example can still pack a fair punch.Originally posted by Edamski View PostThe nicotine aspect is one of the biggest detrator of this hobby for me

I have said this before and been shot down with the statement why bother smoking cigars then but if they can make decaffeinated coffee the surly they can make denicotined cigars?Comment

Probably not I'm afraid Wigan. As I remember being told once, part of the process to decaffeinate coffee is to freeze dry it completely into powder form and then reconstitute it. I don't that would be very good for tobacco leaf.Originally posted by Wigan View PostIf you want to, you can.
