What do you love about smoking cigars?

In a strange way I find reviewing to add to the zen-like state which smoking can induce. I like to take a break from life with my cigar, and if I'm focusing on the flavours and the burn pattern (really engrossing myself in the cigar) I find it much easier to block everything else out.

Then again, if I've got a stunning view over the sea, sat amongst a host of beautiful plants, I might give the reviewing a miss and accept that it wouldn't get anymore perfect...

I agree, in my opinion I think reviewing can remove the whole idea of smoking a cigar in the first place. I feel worn out just reading some reviews![emoji13]

I was not smoking for a fair while but it great to be back, had a nice ERDM CS on Sunday with a BBQ had more of a kick than I remember!

After only really rediscovering my love for cigars recently, I can say there are various things I love, from the flavour to the serene hour or so it takes to smoke one and everything cigar related in between. Being the only smoker in the house, I don't get the chance to smoke with anyone else and I'm sure I'm missing out on something there, however, I'm enjoying the interaction with the rest of the forum members here while I sit on the patio having a fine Cuban.

I think for me it's not so much taking time out or a break, but mostly the taste. I just looove exploring new flavours of different cigars and even various flavours throughout one cigar while I smoke it. The best cigars make me want to have more and more and more... If it makes me feel like taking a bit of it while I smoke, then I call it a success.
