Can anyone recommend a cigar website that sells cigars and they come like they would if I bought them from an actual shop. I've been on cgarsltd and tempted to buy as a matter of convenience but just wanted to see if anyone has before.
most recently bought from our sponsor and the service in replacing something damaged in transit, despite exceptional packaging, was prompt reasonable and wholly satisfactory. the sticks came undamaged, but offered replacements for any affected.
Have bought from JJF but not mysmokingshop as I simply have not have the opportunity
search the threads - there is plenty of people speaking up for all of them.

CGars are a great site but occasionally (as discussed on a thread recently) you can find cheaper sticks at JJ Fox or at MSS.
Make sure to check out the Cigar Review website and other such sources like Puff Reviews just so you know whether the cigars you choose are to your tastes
Brilliant thank you. I've been to JJ Fox's actual shop a few times and have a new shop to check out in Windsor but just for time and convenience the website will come in handy for when I don't have the time to go to the shop. I'll check the reviews. Many thanks
Wherever you enquire or shop i would ask for the box codes at least you,l know the age of what your going to smoke , any good vendor would supply them for you
The only way to know if a cigar is to your tastes is to smoke one yourself.
If you find a reviewer with similar tastes to your own then great, but taste is too subjective for anything to mean much beyond comments on build & burn.
Cigar Review website is a good resource, but I take a lot of the actual "Reviews" with a pinch of salt. Half the time they just say that the cigar needs a decade of age before it's worth touching.

Tommy T - You could do a lot worse than order a sampler of Cubans / Non-cubans from Cgarsltd. I went with their Cuban 'Wednesday' selection plus a few additional sticks I'm about half way through the haul and couldn't be happier with the selection so far.
Fully intend to try My Smoking Shop soon as well as pay some B&M retailers a visit for some recommendations based on what I like so far.
I can couch for Cgarsltd, JJFox and Gauntley's of Nottingham's deliveries. That's also kind of the ascending order of price, generally speaking. My brother uses GQ Tobaccos (Glen, former manager of Gauntley's current venture) and has nothing but praise for them.
