how strictly do you segregate NC & CC when stored... for ever I have kept them separate... but with recent purchases i am stretched for space and am thinking a new locknlock box for some boxes of each in it...

Boxed up, i am not sure its a problem... but welcome your thoughts...

I have a small Hillwood desktop humi that I purchased from E-Bay to keep my NCs in. I have a couple of tins of Fuente Opus X Reserve de Chateau too, but I just keep those in the tins in my coolerdor and they keep fine.

I segregate for housekeeping in general but have a drawer on my cube with NCs in. They're in cello. It's the top drawer, but not as we know it

I must say though opening up a humi with NCs has a completely different aroma and one which I wouldn't want mingled with my real cigars. BWAHAHAHaha

I keep singles in separate humidors but don't segregate boxes, I don't think my NCs will get contaminated

I'm down to just 4 nc's in the humi now and they have their own corner.

2 are keepers (UKCF & Sons of Anarchy), the other 2 will be smoked never to be replaced.

Seems like I need to invest in a new tupperdor or unbox a few boxes and use the space in my NC humi a bit smarter.

cj121 the smell was exactly the thing that pinged it for me. opened the box of olivas the other day and the smell was just so different. ... and it got me thinking! (i soon got over that!)

            thanks fellas.

I have a box of Olivas coming tomorrow. I've gone for the Serie V Melanio Double Toro..I tried one a while back and enjoyed it. Thought it was worth getting a box.

Yeah, I've a couple of boxes of Oliva (one part) that are in the lurve nest, and TBH, boxed, no dramas. Unsleeved singles of many manufacturers and a twang is where I'm coming from Matt. For me anyway, it's just 'sharper' and not all that great. All IMO and always down to personal preference. I'm not supporting any of that CC snobbery BS btw. I don't subscribe to that

I'm sure! I really enjoyed the one I had before! It was in London, someone gave me one as a trade for some stick or other. ..It certainly was packing a punch at the end...

I have mostly CC in my humi and 6 NC cigars. And I'm pretty sure I asked this question a few months ago and was told that it didn't matter if they were mixed together. ?
