Montecristo no 5 - I've enjoyed several of these. A short smoke and light to medium strength.
If you can get them with a bit of age on them then even better.

Most of the Hoyo de Monterrey range are light to medium. On my last trip to JJ Fox I went for an H Upmann #2 which fit the bill as I too am a lightweight.

Hi ranks being a relative newbie to cigars myself I enjoy, hoyo de Monterey epicure 2, Romeo y Juliet short Churchill's, and many of the h upmann range especially the magnums...
I still have some Punch, Siglo, and Montecristo's and non Cubans in the humidor to try and find out if I like them (but will enjoy finding out).
Hope this helps and gives you some ideas...

          Hi Ranks

The big name brands are all medium to mild. Such as R&J, Montecristo and Cohiba.

Don't forget though that you could still be overwhelmed by a large medium cigar owing to the sheer quantity of nicotine so maybe stay away from the big ones for now

Ranks in your shoes I would start of with corona sized cigars
in the following brands some of the members have mentioned
see how you get on with them, and then maybe move up to robusto sized ones.

From my experience, light to medium:
El re del mundo, Hoyo range, por larranga, punch, Romeo julieta

Which one did you smoke? Some of them I've found quite strong (New World) and others nice and quite mild (connecticut). I keep on trying the AJ blends because they're fantastic value but I'm still unsure as to whether I'm a fan or not though they do get rave reviews.

Yeah, that's the one I had too, kicked my arse it did. The New World Connecticut was a lot smoother and less strong.

The Rafael Gonzalez perlas are a nice mild short smoke. Great with a cup of coffee when it's cold outside.
