Just been watching Sautter review the petit Churchill and laurence mentions not keeping small cigars with big ones. Is this a known issue? I ask because I have tupperdor on the go with 69% boveda storing mainly petit Coronas but also a few HUHC, will the smaller smokes be affected?

Sounds like somebody is trying to shift a few extra humis.

Load of bollocks, as is most of the stuff said in his reviews he thinks a churchill is a half hour smoke

Sounds like a load of cobblers to me! I've got Siglo 1s alongside double coronas in my humidors and it hasn't affected the flavour one iota.

It probably is a half hour smoke for him because he's an industrial cigar smoker as he calls himself.

I dont know why but i suspect it might have some thing to do with a small cigar that might loose moisture relatively quickly, sat next to a big bulk of leaf that stays relatively damper drying out slower. Think slender panatella amist 50-60 gauge monsters.

Practice tells us that in a mixed humi its pretty even. In a perfect world keeping 'like' sticks makes instinctive sense BUT i suspect its marginal gains/ benefits that really impacts large numbers of sticks, kept in a large humi, for the long term...

although..... Think walk in humi.... All sticks all sizes.... One big box!

                  hmmm...buggeredifiknow.....!

Just watching that guy light cigars makes me seriously question his judgement.
