  • Cohiba siglo VI

Just looking for people's opinions on these as I have all the other sigs and this is last on my list. I have read some reviews from different sites and they generally say it's the best one but I would like to know what you guys think. Cheers

It's my favourite in the Siglo line, out of all the VI's I've had I can't remember having a poor one and like all Cohiba, with some age on them they are quite special. PM me if you'd like to try some, I have a few 2015 tubos which are great for ageing.

III, VI & V are great too but it's had to beat a good VI, think you'd be looking at a Behike 52 then.

                Hi tommy_tucka!

I have a Siglo VI in my sample selection yet to smoke. Based on my limited research on the interwebs, aficionados seem to believe that the Siglo VI is one of the best, if not the best, cigar you can buy. Many described it as an excellent example of what Cuban cigars used to taste like.

How long do you guys think they should be aged for? I know it's all personal preference...but be good to know your thoughts on it.

Buy a box and smoke one. If you enjoy it there's your answer. If its lacking something put the box away and try again in six months time and so on.

Ricky Bobby with TJ at your disposal why not rack his brains and become his student instead of coming on here?

                          Fair Question.

If only it were that easy, Simon G. But as we all know, little in life comes easy, and becoming a cigar aficionado is no exception.

Now, if you recall from my introductory post, my "task," as don TJ's apprentice, is to gain cigar knowledge from the willing members on the UKCF, not directly from don TJ, himself. What my initial post failed to mention is that the underlying goal of my task is to regain "lost energy" and restore the "energy body," whatever the heck that is... To achieve this lofty goal requires a monumental effort on the part of the apprentice. In this case me, Ricky Bobby.

And much to my dismay, I don't have physical access to don TJ and have never met the man, but he does communicate with me through other means. I've also become familiar with him and the other Coros by researching the archive and through his life-long compadre, don Genero, who stops by from time to time to share his wisdom.

You really can't go wrong with a Siglo VI. I've enjoyed all the ones I've smoked.
