    Hi,

With the recent temperature (I'm not complaining!) I'm struggling to keep my desktop to sensible levels as I'm sure a few are. A winadore is too expensive and my small collection doesn't warrant this. The best cheap solution I thought would be to get a thermostat connected to a small fridge to turn it on when it goes over 70f, and off when below - would this work?

Also, any other suggestions for cheap solutions?

    Thanks.

Excuse the pun Danny, but don't sweat it.

Our climate doesn't lend itself to very lengthy periods of high temperatures, and things will settle down again soon. Alternatively, find a cooler spot to put your lurve-nest for a while. Under some stairs? In the bottom of a wardrobe? In a room that doesn't get sun directly into it? Those kind of places.

Simplest solution danny - don't worry about it. You have a modest collection not boxes slowing aging. Presumably you have a reasonable turn over & 30oC+ won't harm them. The only real risk is from weavils hatching, as long as you have bought from Habanos suppliers or frozen your sticks, this isn't an issue either. Just chill man!

Thanks guys. I'll just leave them where they are and keep an eye on them.
