I did not see any humidor or menu while I was there so I smoked my own Epicure #2. If it was not for your post then I would not have even known there was a spot to enjoy.

Did you ask anyone about cigars? I did some staff training myself, so would hope they would be helpful to visiting smokers. There are chalk boards up advertising the cigars and the lounge, but perhaps they need to be more visible. What I can say for sure is that Oakman certainly haven't spent their money and time creating the lounge for people just to rock up and smoke their own. Why would they?

It was a Bank Holiday Monday. The venue must have been about 70℅ full. I did not see any chalk boards and I did not ask anybody, but there was nothing to indicate the smoking area was there. I only only knew it was there and went looking for it because of your post. I did not see a single advert or mention indicating the dedicated area or cigars. They were setting up the bar downstairs, so I went upstairs to get some drinks. Would have been great if they were advertising so that more people could be having a smoke. Was perfect weather for it.

Just to let you know, chaps, the Cigar Lounge at The Navigation will be closed for a few weeks while a nearby function room is refurbed. Plan is to reopen on early December. Of course, if this amazing weather continues, nothing to stop you enjoying a smoke al fresco beside the canal!
