When I started, I bought a cigar tasting log that had a space for bands in each review section. For the first year or so, I logged every cigar I smoked and pasted in the band. After a while I didn't like wasting a slot on bad cigars, so now I log only smokes that I really like. Bands from everything else go in the trash.

I have an old A4 scrapbook that I am going to start putting them.

The plan is to break it up into sections for brands and glue a bunch of small ziplock bags into each one for different sizes/types to form a kind of collection. For the really awesome ones and first times I plan to glue them in directly on a page with some notes on when I smoked them, why and what I thought.

Dont know if it will be useful in recording what I like but after a while I am sure it will be both a nice reminder of past smokes and an awesome thing to leave on a coffee table in my flat

Keeping a log of you cigars and puros when you start out is a great way to learn and keep a record of brands and formats you like and don't like.

I did the the same the on a computer when I started out. Lot's of fun to go back now and see what I smoked and how I rated 'em.

            Cheers!

I took inspiration from other members on here and I keep mine in a glass vase I bought. Even my wife thinks it looks ok, which is a bonus.

              However, someone's been busy

On ebay if anyone is interested
