    Does anyone actually smoke these?
They're about eleventy billion a box.
    Or twelvty million a single.
Why are they so expensive? They look like they more than tripled in price and that's if you can get them.
So - who still looks for them? And why?

For me the 52 is the best of the range. It is a good smoke & comparable to the Siglo VI but how much are they worth? E25 for a fresh one & E30 for an aged one, in my books anyway.

I've smoked a 54 when they were reasonably priced, just over ?30 I think I paid. It was a nice smoke for sure but expensive then and not worth the ludicrous money they are now.

These super expensive limited edition and super expensive 'ultra premium' cigars have become a status symbol, and some people will pay whatever it takes to be seen with them. Just my personal opinion of course.

I suspect that a lot are actually being bought as investments

As i understand it there is a shortage of the leaf needed to make them thus the surge in price. Seem to be less of some of the other premium sticks as well.

That's not bad for UK prices ....I've smoked one and really enjoyed it...Is it worth the money...Really depends on you and your money...ive got 2...One 52 and 56 which i got a decent price... But will keep them for a very special occasion.

There are some "seconds types"...Not sure if they are custom rolls or some that didn't get get the cut for a box worthy. But some people are selling these at a discounted rate but still a bit pricy.

I've only had the 54 so far and have a single 52 in my desktop humidor. The 54 was a nice smoke but I believe that they are overpriced. A store in Germany where I purchase cigars on a regular basis received some stock yesterday, they limited the amount one could purchase to 2 cigars and everything sold out during the day. This proves that demand is indeed very high. I certainly wouldn't purchase any 54's, there a a ton of good smokes to be had for far less coin. I can't say that for the 52 since I still have to try it though.

I've tried all 3 & they were very nice. The sparkly bands make them worth the premium IMHO

Indeed mate, that is the official reason & good for Habanos for not making them with lesser quality leaf. Of course shortages drive demand & increases prices. Doesn't do the brand or the line any harm either ;O)

Tried one of each when they were first released. As with most of the Cohiba Line not worth the higher price IMO. With the exception of the 66

I've got one of each in my singles humi, both from 2015. I'll let them rest a little longer, keen to try but am in no rush as there's a lot of fantastic regular production stuff which is much more affordable.

I've tried the 54 and enjoyed it... but in my opinion it's not worth the cost. I'd rather buy a couple of smokes for the same money and double the smoking pleasure.
