Did you smoke cigarettes?

I smoked when I was 16, mainly just to annoy my parents and be rebellious. I discovered cigars at 18/19 and quickly stopped the 5 a week cigarette habit thereafter.

I smoked cigarettes until I was about 41 or 42 and then quit. I started on the cigars when I was 47.
So I quit, but not for cigars.

Me too. I fell down the vaping rabbit holes for a couple of years and eventually quit that too. I got back into cigar smoking last year, partly because I felt I could trust myself with tobacco again.
