so from what i understand from you as the afficionados that these are fake? What if i ask the auctioneer for proof that they are real and not fakes? I will ask straight away... and see what they come up with. But from the auctions as C Gars... 800GBP a piece is a bit exagerated isn't it? I also know that there a lots of fakes around and have been ripped of with Cohiba Lanceros as these are my favourite. Once i smoked the real thing i understood what happened to me @#$%^

which shop told you their real? mind you some shops will tell you mold is plume so who the f..k knows?
it does always amuse me that people would come on a cigar forum and try this shit, you would be better of trying to sale fakes to people who would not have a clue what a fake or real cigar should look like? but i guess you can't buy stupid

The 'cooperativo/a' is a classic tourist scam which everyone seems to encounter - sorry!Originally posted by black7 View PostFor me too. He did show all real box / fake box
Stuff in the shop but when i told him i bought
It from cigar festival and told him where it was
And given him the guys name he knew the story
Basiclly they work in cohiba factory but they cant
Use offical pack and box but they can sell them
Once a month...cigar tested it was real

When I was in Havana I must have been offered cigars from the cooperativo at least half a dozen times, funnily enough it was always the 'the last day' so I was encouraged to get in there quick. One day I did actually take a look out of curiosity and they were patently fakes and the whole setup very shady (as you would expect). Amusingly they even had the audacity to try and charge more than the genuine factory shops/casas del habanos.
