i bought the bhk52 clones because i like the vitola - short thick plenty of smoke. Interestingly I did a closer compare and contrast last evening between actual BHK52 and clone. The actuals are slightly firmer at the cap - the cap sits tighter on the stick. otherwise its very similar - ring guage matches, as does the wrapper shade which is uncanny.
They are certainly not 'back door' or unbanded bhk. They are apparently rolled in el laguito.... who knows or cares! they are well made. time will tell if they are very nice to smoke or not!!! certainly worth a roll of the dice at the price point.

I'd only buy one if i saw it being rolled by a proper cuban roller in a cigar shop. No way would I buy them off the net, probably get some old tut from china..haha
Enclosed a pic of my custom roll desktop humi as a bit of cigar porn.... On the right the pyramides are the same sticks that PeeJay ran as COTM a few years back now, some ?Bulleits? from the same source. These are reputed to be minimum 5 year aged Cuban leaf, rolled by an ex RyJ roller. On the left the BHK52 clones. These have dramatically different wrapper colour and texture, and age. The right hand side sticks are using aged leaf plus another couple of years in my humi.
