A fantastic 14 mins worth anyones time. Very interesting and informative.
Reminded me that about 10 years ago my family sold 3 or 4 Churchill owned cigars - my grandmother was originally from Monaco and had 2 very glamourous aunts who made hats and head pieces for the well to do and one of their clients was Mrs Churchill, she had them make things for her on her and Winston Churchill's stays at the hotel de Paris in Monaco.
After one visit Mrs Churchill gifted these four cigars to this aunty and they were never smoked but passed down to my grandmother who kept them - there was a letter that went with them from Mrs Churchill which later down the line provided authenticity of their origin.
We spoke to C.Gars and they were appraised and sent to one of their auctions and made nearly ?2.5k if I remember correctly. Sadly I wasn't really interested in cigars at the time and would love to know what they were and wished I'd kept hold of them now so have as a fantastic keep sake of cigar collecting.
