I'd go for the Hoyo PR, perhaps not budget but one of the best regular production PR's IMHO. A little smaller & cheaper RG Perla's not bad.

if you can rustle up a la Gloria cubana series D no5 they are bargain prices presently at c75 e75euros a box

There's only one practical solution to that, buy a dozen packs & stick them at the back of your humi' & forget about them. I know it takes patience & a little financial layout but getting to a stage where you have sufficient stock to age some sticks for a couple of years, is the first step to enjoying aged cigars most/all the time.
