Hookmaker interesting cross section of wines... I've run down my stocks to something akin to the levels of Deano for much the same reason... buy smart, hold, andd enjoy over a long period. BUT I am getting better at buying en primeur ... although when I leave it in bond I simply dont drink it!!!

I am a long way behind you in bottles though... and definitely in cigars... but I reckon my port collection is shaping up to be more than I can feasibly drink in a lifetime, but then i suspec my kids will mop up the rest as soon as they are old enough! lucky devils!

Thanks Al, haha yeah the problem is how to get it all drunk - but I’d be happy to serve up some good stuff should you ever be in Copenhagen

Walk in Humidor

Ok an update.
Piss hard working on the wine cellar and WIH. Photo 1 shows the magnum bottle wine rack I just built this morning. Anyways, that rack completes the wine cellar and I have now removed dry wall in front of insolation on one side. The steel/glass wall with door in the center will be installed across the room just behind the magnum rack. Photo 2 with drawing on it shows the steel cross profiles(red) I need to attach before I can mount the vertical wooden boards (yellow brown) which will be the inside of the WIH. On top of those comes the Spanish cedar shelving [emoji41]

Coming along nicely here. Walls are done insulation and all and on go the boards, - and no, the wall boards are not Spanish cedar, that?d make the humidor way too smelly[emoji41]
Shame I have to wait feckin 3 weeks for the glass wall with door[emoji31]

Coming along pretty well Henrik. Are you gonna pay the plane fare for Scottish Steve and me for the grand opening of Casa Henrik?

Spanish cedar is strong in the odor and if you wrap the whole thing in it, you will “gas” your cigars with cedar. The boxes themselves and the shelving is enough
