  • Another newbie question

Hi folks, another probably stupid question, but everywhere I look, I'm finding the same answers, that ideally, I should have a 70/70 setup, well the humidity side of things isn't a problem as I'm using Bovida packs, but my house sits at an average 62 degrees, is this too low, or am I fretting about nothing, atb Daz

Now this is an area that gets discussed a fair bit and most have personal preference, for me I used a klarstein but only really switch it on in the warmer weather. RH I use 65% and currently the temp in my humidor is 65f. I personally don't get hung up on temperature. For me the RH is main thing I loose sleep over as I store both Cuban and non Cuban in there. The RH is slightly lower at the top so that's where my cubans live. Not sure that helps. I'm sure one of the more experienced members will be able to

70/70 is an American concept and most of us prefer a humidity level of around 65%.

Don?t worry about temperature if you live in the U.K. and keep your storage in an insulated building. It?ll be fine.

Personally I prefer Cubans stored closer to 65 too

Thanks guy's, I don't currently have any Cubans at the moment, so have my setup at 69%, I know it's going to be trial and error at first, but would prefer less error if I can help it, thanks again, Daz
