I rarely use a cutter. I find a finger nail does just as good a job.

Also not a big lancero fan these days, just find the ultra thin ring gauges are missing something compared to a 46 ring up.

I wouldn't use a zuppo or candle, but if you had to, I wouldn't cut the cigar before lighting, so any alien flavours stay out of it.

Taking inspiration from a radio slot of the same name I thought it might be fun to compile a list of cigar- related unpopular opinions. If you have an opinion or way of doing something that you think is controversial then share it here! At the risk of sacrificing all dignity and credibility in my first few weeks on the forum I'll go first:

I often light cigars with a petrol filled Zippo ...And I don't think it makes any difference at all
