When I see it getting too long I just dab it off into the ashtray don't think too much about it to be honest..

I don't willlingly try to let the ash get very long and at the same time don't flick off the ash, but I have to admit I am an ash fetishist, yet only if it stays long unassisted .

I'm all for natural breasts... I mean ashes

I always just let it drop, never affects taste for me.

Often the longer the better (sign of quality construction!)

          Thanks CJ!

Skyhigh, i've had many piercings in many places in the past. Thats all i'll reveal haha.

Lascaux, you make an interesting point. I think there have been times where i have been silly and let the ash get that bit too long, causing the combustion to change and ultimately the flavour too.

This thread has amused me lol. So much innuendo!

            Cool Monkey.

I've got a mate I met at Uni a while back, big lad (well I never actually saw that) but big build. He had the ol' Prince Albert, but downsized the ring as, and I qoute "I kept chipping the wife's teeth"

              Ah the ash thing.

I let it get to about an inch also, before dabbing off, generally. I have attempted to get the ashicus maximus before, but it fell off in an unglamourous fashion.

I've not experienced any change in taste through length of ash, but I do notice the burn can go wonky when the ash does fall off.

When I'm in the car I do try and tap it before it falls inside the car. Though I have done that before and it flies back in and hits me in the face! I've since learnt to keep one eye closed when I do it.

At the pub, I do try and do it so it doesn't drop on the table or in my drink. Sometimes it just won't come off, though I'll try out your rule TJ.

                  A Big Ass Ash!

I'm in the camp of letting the ash grown Long and Strong!

When smoking outside, a long ash will allow your puro to burn cooler by protecting against assaults from rogue air currents.

At lest that's what me pappy, Pappy Coro once told me. He also told me that you can't F*ck all the women in the world, but you can try.

Haha CJ thats class. Fair do's on him downsizing it for her lol. I've had 6 various *ahem* piercings but removed them all in the end due to my lady and i not being very well anatomically matched, in my favor haha. (trying to keep this civilised is difficult lol). I'll get them back when we're older or we've had kids

Dave, i too have noticed the burn issue you mention. Can be a real pain if a perfect burn is maintained right to the point of ruining it myself :-( i think from this i'll take that its good to keep a healthy ash, but not to get over-enthusiastic with it!

TJ, if you're going to try, then i'm going to give you a challenge! The irresistable Ann Widdecombe is next on your list!

Not really my style, mate. Seems a wee bit intolerant , but thanks for the suggestion ().
