A belicoso is basically just a big toro isn't it?

yes they are i believe the same length. the toro however has a larger ring. more bang for your buck imo!

The 1 thing we all need to remember :
Some will disagree and some will totally agree!
If the review is done with a robusto and scores a 92, then burning a toro, belicoso is not going to yeild the same flavor or complexity. One would think it would but if U ask the most educated of cigar experts somehow its not the same. I've never burned a robusto then a belicoso and found the same profile. Crazy right!!! But true

                      thats true!

depends on the person. a good example is the rocky patel. i have only smoked one rocky patel that i liked and it was the sungrown. and i wouldnt ever buy it again. for the money i can get a much better stick imo. people like different things and interpret them differently. and another example is the gurka im about to finish. not bad, but wouldnt buy another one. was not a bad cigar, just not my taste. both rocky patel and gurka are rated high from what i could find. both.....not for me!

                          How very true.
I have a good friend who smokes a lot of non-Cuban cigars and enjoys a Cuban smoke when he can. He keeps giving me gifts of cigars he raves about -first it was Rocky Patels, recently it's been those Don Pepins that everyone seems to be raving about. Both are premium-priced brands and I've disliked everything about them. What a waste of money and smoking time.

I stand behind the rule: Friends Don't Let Friends Smoke Bad Cigars.
Literally behind it -I have it on a T-shirt

but I also believe that everyone has his own taste and I appreciate my friend's gesture in making the gifts.
I'm not going to criticize his taste and I dare not simply refuse to smoke them because ... you never know.
                          .

Those cigars you pictured are Cuban Crafter's Cuban Sandwich cigars. They are packaged in bundles. They are rolled in Estel?, Nicaragua and use Nicaraguan tobacco for the filler and binder. The wrapper is an Ecuador Sumatra leaf.

I know several people at Cuban Crafters and they are all great folks. They have a wonderful factory / retail shop. If you are ever in Miami, you really need to stop in and experience it.
